

She was born in New York City, daughter of the late John and Theresa (Falvo) Scalzo, and came to Danbury as an infant. She lived in Danbury most of her life, and received her education in Danbury schools.
She devoted her young life to raising her family. Later, she worked at the Marcus Dairy Bar and then at Ethan Allen, Inc.
She will be remembered for her simplicity, her giving spirit, her wonderful cooking, and her love for God and family.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, where she also served as a lector and Eucharistic minister. She also was a volunteer at the New Milford Thrift Mart.
Mrs. Rogalski is survived by her children, Diane Jones, and her husband Philip, of Brookfield; Richard Rogalski, and his wife Cynthia, of Palm Coast, Florida; Sheila Villani, and her husband Louis, of New Milford; and David Rogalski, and his wife Heather, of Danbury. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Philip Jones, Jr., Dean Jones, Michael Reimers, Jennifer Reimers, Bryan Rogalski, Tara Ann Bowman, and Stephen Rogalski; and great grandchildren Cassidy and Corinne Jones
Also surviving are her sisters, Mary McGrath of Venice, Fl; Louise Belanger of New Brunswick, Canada; and her brothers, Richard Scalzo and Robert Scalzo, both of Danbury; and Mario Scalzo of Mississippi. She was predeceased by her sister, Yolanda Milton, and her brothers John Scalzo and Harry Scalzo. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury on Friday December 6th at 10:00am. Mrs. Rogalski will be laid to rest in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street Danbury on Thursday December 5th from 4 thru 7pm.
