Helen E. Horan Walters

Helen E. Walters, 85, of Danbury, beloved wife of William F. Walters, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 11, 2012. Helen was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Horan. She was a graduate of Danbury High School and had worked for the former Risdon Manufacturing Company for more than 30 years. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her loving husband of sixty-five years, she is survived by her sons; William F. Walters, Jr. and wife Barbara and Gary M. Walters and wife Barbara, both of Danbury, her sister, Florence Lawrynovicz, of Ridgefield and three grandchildren: Deborah Christensen, Jessica Granger and Clint Walters and a great granddaughter, Samantha Granger. She was also predeceased by her brother Arthur Horan, her sister Mary Moore and grandson Robert Walters.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, with a service at 12 noon. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
