James was born in Port Chester, NY July 2, 1936, the son of the late Austin and Rose (Dileo) Terico. Educated in Port Chester, he was a US Marine Corps veteran, and was employed as a butcher for Shopwell and A & P Supermarkets.
James was a member and former captain of Phoenix Hose Co., a member of the Danbury Marine Corps League, and was an avid collector of antique firearms.
In addition to his wife of 69 years, James is survived by his children Mark Terico, and Kim Terico, both of Danbury, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 8 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday August 5th in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
