

Daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Zuzalock) Rossi, Jean was born in Danbury, CT pn January 7, 1936.
While raising her family, Jean started Drapery Workshop with the help from her mother-in-law, Theresa Kilcourse. Together they created a business that has been successful for over 45 years.
Her passion was performing in local theater in New Fairfield, Brookfield, and Florida. From Pippin to Funny Girl, Barbara Streisand had nothing on her. Jean was an avid tennis player and golfer. She looked forward to playing golf weekly with her daughter and friends. Jean also looked forward to spending time with friends in Florida during the winter months.
Jean Kilcourse is survived by her beloved husband, Walter. Her four children: Walter Thomas Kilcourse and wife, Nina, of Bethel; Debra Turner and husband, Alan, of Brookfield; David Kilcourse and wife, Megan, of Danbury, and Marie Cahill and husband, James, from Oregon. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Jean is also survived by her sister Elaine (Rossi) Kaiser and husband, George, of Pennsylvania as well as several nieces and nephews.
The immediate family asks that she be remembered for her spirit, passion, and love of family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on FRIDAY, Sept. 10, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield with the Rev. George F. O'Neill, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow.
Friends will be received on WEDNESDAY, Sept. 8, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Those attending are required to wear masks.
