Jean devoted her life to her family. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered with love. In her early years, she was a dedicated stay-at-home mother until her children were grown. She later worked as a compassionate home health aide, providing care and comfort to others until her retirement.
Upon retiring, Jean and her husband, Lucien, enjoyed many wonderful years together, splitting time between Connecticut and their home in Florida, where they cherished countless hours with friends and family.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Tammy Kenny and her husband, Tom of Danbury, CT; her son, Kevin Simard and his, wife Kathy of Littleton, CO; her beloved grandchildren: Lindsay and Justin; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Church, Main St., Danbury, CT. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Maine, at the family’s convenience.
