Joan "Joanie" M. B. Kayser

Joan "Joanie" M. B. Kayser, aged 89, of Danbury, Connecticut, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born to the late Laverne and Grace Butler in Ecorse, Michigan, Joan was a lifelong resident of Danbury, CT.

Later in life, she proudly graduated from Danbury High School, imparting a lasting message of perseverance in pursuing one's dreams and aspirations. An enthusiast of bingo, bowling, and card games with friends at Glen Hill Apartments, Joan cherished these community bonds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard H. Kayser Sr., daughter-in-law Donna Kayser, and granddaughter Kendra Cumming.

Joan is survived by her loving children: Bernard (Krissy), Katheryn (Dennis), Richard, Kenneth (Chrisanne), Lori Ann (Mike) and adopted daughter Tiana, as well as her cherished grandchildren Katrina and Christopher, and great-grandchildren Jack, Natalie, Ava, and Madison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.

Joan's family expresses deep gratitude to the residents and staff who made her time at Glen Hill Apartments so meaningful.
