Jordan was born in Peekskill, New York on August 9, 1950, the son of William and Olive (Cooper) Powell.
He graduated from Carmel High School and attended Western Connecticut State University.
Jordan married Kathleen Coughlan on August 21, 1982 and they made their home in Danbury, CT.
For many years, Jordan was the sole proprietor of Custom Computer Services in the Danbury area.
Besides his wife Kathleen, Jordan is survived by his two daughters Diana Powell of Danbury and Kathleen Powell of Norwalk.
Jordan was predeceased by his parents and his brother Paul Powell.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
