He was born in Woonsocket, RI to the late Joseph E. and Estelle Zipp Fitzpatrick. Joe attended New York City schools and served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Retiring in 1990, Joe was a stockbroker with Prudential Securities in Southbury.
A New Fairfield resident for over 50 years, Joe was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield.
Survivors include several dear cousins and many friends in the greater New Fairfield area.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, Feb 21, 2018 at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge, MA.
