Kann was born in Cambodia, daughter of Phong Long and Chemm Seang. She came to the United States in 1981, and has lived in Danbury since she arrived. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and was and active member in the local Cambodian Buddhist temple.
Kann is survived by her seven children: Leankim Lyke of Bridgewater, Jason Bun of New Milford, Chhem Bun of Cambodia, Kimly Plong of Danbury, Cindy Nuth of Lowell, MA, Lorn Son of Danbury, and Linda Bun of New Milford, sixteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Services will be held at the Green Funeral Home in Danbury, located at 57 Main St. Nov. 2 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
