EN EL CUIDADO DE
Green Funeral Home
Kelli Ann Hibbard was born on February 24, 1969 in Yonkers, NY to Jeffrey and Judith Hibbard.
She was a serious child who did well in her studies, receiving two Bachelors, one in Psychology and the other in Spanish. This led to her Masters in Education which she put to good use as a teacher. She taught at West Rocks Middle School for almost 30 years. Always passionate about learning, she made sure her students had what they needed to succeed.
She had broad interests ranging from horseback riding to going to Operas at the Met. Extremely generous, her family knew they were loved. Although her first loves may have been her many pets throughout the years! She achieved her dream of having a Belgium Malinois named Dixie which she adopted 3 years ago.
She is predeceased by her father Jeffrey Hibbard and survived by her mother Judith and brother John.
Visitation will be Friday the 20th from 4pm to 7pm and the funeral service on Saturday the 21st at 10:30am. Both events will be held at the Green Funeral Home in Danbury, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare Society.
