

Kendall Cameron Schmidt, 20, of New Fairfield, CT passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a 3 year long, valiant battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He was the son of Carola I. Schmidt of New Fairfield and Peter J. Cucchiara of Pawling, NY.
Kendall Schmidt was born in Danbury, CT and attended New Fairfield Schools and was a 2011 graduate of New Fairfield High School. His favorite volunteer activity was to work for the School Computer Service Department with Frank and Denise at New Fairfield High School. Kendall attended Naugatuck Valley Community College. He was a self-employed Network Engineer and had most recently worked as a Computer Specialist at Ssaris Advisors in Wilton, CT.
Kendall enjoyed being with his many friends Will, Matt, Jeff, and Zach working on his vehicles, computers, robotics, and hanging out. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Loren Caitlin Schmidt of New Fairfield, his half siblings Arielle Cucchiara of New Jersey and Stephen Cucchiara of Colorado, his grandparents Francis Cucchiara of Quincy, MA and Irmgard Schmidt of New Fairfield, CT and his Uncle who spent many days with him at the hospital.
Friends will be received on Friday, Dec 20th, 2013 from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Dec 21st, 2013 at 11:00 am at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Route 37 and Colonial Road, New Fairfield, Connecticut 06812 with the Rev. Eric Wismar, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Not only did the donations help but the grand block party (A Karing Krowd) was one of the happiest times for Kendall where he felt like a celebrity.
