Kenneth E. Fairchild

Kenneth E. Fairchild, 71, a resident of Danbury and longtime resident of Bethel passed away peacefully on Saturday Feb 18, 2017. Kenneth was born on December 9, 1945 in Danbury, CT to the late William and Shirley Fairchild. Kenneth served in the US Army from 1965-1967.

Locally he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and for many years worked as a produce manager for Deeps Supermarket. Ken was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He was an amazing person who touched so many people.

Kenneth is predeceased by his loving wife Carol. He is survived by his two children Bill Fairchild and his wife Jeannie Ritchie, Kim Christian and her husband Brian and granddaughter Ashley Rizzo. He is also survived by his brother Mel Fairchild and his wife Elaine, sister-in-law Joyce Bowteck and her husband Bill and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call on March 5, 2017 from 4-7PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. Funeral mass will be celebrated on March 6, 2017 at 10AM at St. Mary's RC Church, Bethel, CT. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel, CT.
