

Born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1936, Lois was the daughter of the late William J. and Ann (Carlton) Perridge. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Walker. Lois was a devoted mother who enjoyed reading, music, swimming, movies, the beach and had a love of nature. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends, and had fond memories of traveling. She was a loyal Mets and Jets fan.
Lois was predeceased by her siblings: Mary Virginia, Sister Joan Catherine, William Perridge, Robert Perridge, Kathleen Klein. Also, son-in-law Roger Levin and granddaughter Hannah McKay. She will be missed by her sister, Ann Heavey of California, brother-in-law Gene Klein (Carolyn) of New Jersey, sister-in-law Jean Walker of Danbury and sister-in-law Betty Perridge of Florida.
Children: Maureen Walker McKay (Bill) of Danbury, Virginia Walker Prial (Ed) of Stamford, Raymond Walker (Melissa) of New Fairfield, Maryann Walker of New Fairfield, Dianne Walker of Stamford and Joseph Walker of New Fairfield.
Grandchildren: Kelly Wiedl, Alicia Messina (Julie), Anthony, Nicholas and Andrew Messina, Stephanie Kulp (Jim), Sarah Walker, Kristen and Joseph Walker, Alex Prial, Hillary and Shane McKay.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.– 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12th at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 8 Robinson Avenue, Danbury, CT. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, 71 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to Western CT Area Agency on Aging, 84 Progress Lane, 2nd Fl, Waterbury, CT 06705, with notation MOW/Lois Walker, or the American Cancer Society.
