Marcy A. Sturges

Marcy was born in Danbury, CT and was predeceased by her parents Louis G. Bedient, Sr. and Anne Maxwell Marcy Bedient.

Marcy owned her own hair salon on Main Street in Danbury back in the 1980’s and enjoyed working with and getting to know everyone that walked through her doors. She loved attending stock car races, playing Bingo at the local VFW’s and churches, attending local fairs as well as the numerous vacations with her boys to Wildwood, NJ, cruises and all things Dolphin related.

Her boys were her everything and she could be seen attending every bowling event, softball game, etc. that she could. She would open her doors and her heart to anyone that needed a place to stay, ear to listen or bite to eat.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Howard, and her 3 sons: Stephen, Jeffrey and Gregory; as well as her daughter-in-law, Jill, and grand-daughter, Charlotte. She is also survived by her brother, Lou Bedient; niece, Melissa; nephew, Matthew; and her step-daughter, Natasha Norton; and grand-sons: Jesse, Tai and Kenji.

Her memory will live on in all of the lives she touched and will be greatly missed.
