Margaret Keenan Cessario

Margaret attended St. Joseph School and graduated from Danbury High School, then attended the Wright School of Cosmetology. In her early years, she worked at several local beauty shops but became a stay-at-home Mom to care for her four children; Kathleen, Daniel, Barbara and Timothy, they survive her, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

During her later years she worked at Filene’s and Macy’s Department Stores and was a past member of The Lady’s Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Lakeview Social Club. Her greatest joy was her family.

Margaret was predeceased by her first husband Eugene Gallagher and her second husband Frank Cessario, her two brothers, Walter and Robert Keenan and her three sisters Helen Ledan, Gert Brew and Dot Clement.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am at St. Peter Church in Danbury. Committal services will be private.

Face Masks will be required for all funeral home services.
