Margaret "Peggy" Weaver Osborne

Margaret (Peggy) Weaver Osborne, 49, of New Fairfield, CT passed away at home on Saturday, July 30, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on September 18, 1961 to William and the late Jeanne Weaver in Suffern, NY. Peggy graduated from Suffern High School and received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware.

She married J. David Osborne in 1986 and moved to New Fairfield, CT where they happily raised their three children, Sam, Charlotte, and Leah. Peggy’s first priority was her family and she dedicated her life to their care and well-being. Peggy’s gift to all was her creative gardening. She was a gardener to several estates including the Rockefeller Estate in Sleepy Hollow, NY. She inspired others through her smile, enthusiasm and generosity.

Peggy is survived by her husband, David, her three children, Sam, Charlotte and Leah, her father William Weaver, her sister Mary Kate Bifano, and her brother Tim Weaver. She has many nieces, nephews and loyal friends.

The family will receive visitors at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT from 5 until 8 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church in New Fairfield, CT starting at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
