

Margaret was born May 30, 1921, in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Dorothy (Falck) Ivers.
She was raised in St. Bridget's Home in Quebec City, Canada and graduated there. She came to the United States when she was 21 and lived in Brooklyn, NY most of her life. In 1981, she and her husband moved to Danbury, CT to be where her daughter, “Baby”, lived. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Russell, her sister, Annie, and her brothers, Frank and Peter. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret and her husband, Gerald Walsh, of Danbury; two grandchildren, Margaret Ellen and Michael and his wife Alison; two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Evan; sister-in-law, Lillian Striano; and several nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Relatives and Friends will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We will process from the funeral home to St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Rd, Danbury, CT 06811, for a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends are asked to please omit flowers. Contributions in Mrs. Rochon's memory may be made to the D.A.W.S., 147 Grassy Plain St, Bethel, CT 06801, or The CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111 .
