Marie was born Domenica Marie Masi (fondly known as Mae) in 1931 to Paul and Margaret Masi in Port Chester, NY. Marie attended the Port Chester School System. She worked at a bakery in Port Chester, as well as S&K Coat Factory.
Marie married Andrew Telesca on April 20, 1952 and they had three children. Marie was a homemaker and assisted her husband in growing his business. Upon retirement in 2001, Marie and her husband moved to New Fairfield, CT to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.
Marie will be remembered as an unbelievable cook, an amazing baker, and a lover of children. She adored children so much that she was a caregiver for children in Port Chester, NY including many of her grandchildren.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Sadie Bisignano; brother, Leonard Masi; and her daughter-in-law, Donna.
Survivors of Marie include her three children: Joseph; Paul (Karen); and Kathryn Moran (Pat); her grandchildren: Michael (Carolyn), Ashley Donahue (Timmy), Andrew (Christie), Paul, Joe (Teresa), Dominique Santiago, Nicholas, Katie Farrell (Keenan), and Patrick Moran; and her 15 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, with the Rev. Timothy Iannacone, officiating. Entombment will be in Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury.
Friends will be received from 9:00am to 10:00am on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
