Mary C. Jasinski

Mary was born in Danbury, a daughter of the late Peter and Emilia Puskarczyk Czajka. She attended Sacred Heart School and was a 1950 graduate of Danbury High School.

Mary and Stan worked together at the Danbury Post Office and retired together in 1996. During their retirement they enjoyed traveling to various parts of Canada and the US. Mary especially enjoyed her flower gardens.

Her love of the Lord and Blessed Mother were the highlights of her life, which were inspired by Sacred Heart School and her mother. Mary was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church in Danbury. The special charisma that Mary had touched many lives; to know her was to love her.

Besides her husband, Mary is survived by her children: Sandra Ahrstrom of Danbury; Michael Jasinski and his wife, Patricia, of Bethel; Judith Thomas of Danbury and Robert Jasinski of Danbury. Her grandchildren: Michael, Heather, Haley and Jason. Her great-grandchildren: Trevon, Michael, Tyler, Evan, Bruen and Jordyn Rose. Her brother: Matthew Czajka. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her son-in-law, Fred Thomas and her siblings: Samuel, Peter, Edward, Stephen, Chester and Frances.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, Danbury. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends will be received on Monday from 5pm-8pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
