Mary L. Schild

Born in New York City in 1917, she was the daughter of John and Lillian Delaney. Spending most of her earlier years in Flushing, New York where she raised four children and was active in the local Senior Center in her later years.

Besides her parents and spouse William, she was predeceased by her siblings Jack and Emma.

Surviving are her children and their spouses: William and Jean of Wilmington, NC; Robert and Patricia of Hazlet, NJ; Mary Louise and Bernard D’Esposito of New Fairfield, CT; Patricia and Barry Evens of Georgetown, DE. She was the proud matriarch of nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at St. Edwards the Confessor R. C. Church, New Fairfield, CT. There are no calling hours.

She will be interred with her beloved spouse in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing, New York in a private ceremony with the immediate family.
