

Michael was born in New Haven, CT on April 17, 1980. He attended and graduated from Danbury High School. He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Michael enjoyed modern technology and excelled at it. He was appreciative of nature, especially taking long walks around parks and lakes. He was a sincere advocate for animals and sensitive to their needs.
Michael was a gentle, kind, humble, honest and loving spirit; always trying to remain positive. He will be forever missed but will always remain in our hearts.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving brother Jeffrey (Heather) Cossack, his nephew Logan, his niece Alexandra, his special cousin Annie (Matthew) Forster-Michelsen, who was like a sister to him, his feline companion Buddy, and his pesky dog Sadie.
He is also survived by loving aunts and uncles: Charles (Rosemarie) McDonald, June (Frank) Forster, Sandra (David) Lutz, Peter Cossack, John (Nancy) Cossack, Linda (Dennis) Catricala, Mary Bodenstab and many cousins.
Michael was predeceased by his infant sister Alysia Cossack, his maternal grandparents William and Martha (Alison Peck) McDonald; his paternal grandparents
Thomas Sr and Amelia (Pagano) Cossack, his aunt Joyce Cossack and uncle Jim Bodenstab.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12noon on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at St. Edwards the Confessor in New Fairfield, CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
