Nicholas was born in Bronx, NY, son of the late Dominick and Grace LoRusso. He graduated high school in the Bronx and served in the Army during the Korean War. He later worked as a Bus Driver for more than 20 years for the New York Transit Authority and was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Grace Hanisch, and husband, Martin, of New Fairfield and two granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia Hanisch, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers and sisters: Steven LoRusso, Angelo LoRusso, Catherine Bassi, Rose Marchiano and Claire Lovisa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield, on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Friends can call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
