Patricia Susan Rogers

Patricia "Patty" Susan Rogers, 74, passed away peacefully, on the 25th of August, 2017. She was born on the 16th of December, 1942 in Danbury, Connecticut. She graduated from Danbury High School and worked as a legal secretary. She married the love of her life, Leonard "Lenny" Joseph Rogers, Sr. in 1965. Lenny and Patty were married for 48 years before Lenny passed away in 2013. Patty spent most of her life as a home maker and brought countless smiles and memories to those close to her. She lived in Connecticut before moving to New Jersey and eventually Oklahoma to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Patty enjoyed talking on the phone with family, feeding two chocolate labs (Bailey and Lili) way too much and watching them play in the yard and being around her children and grandchildren.

Patty was predeceased by her husband, Lenny, and her mother, Dorothy "Dottie" Lattin. She is survived by her brother, George Doutney of Newtown, Connecticut. Patty is the proud mother of Leonard "Lenny" Joseph Rogers, Jr. and Laurie Rogers and grandmother of Mike Rogers, Danny Rogers, Brian Rogers, Samantha Doyle and Megan Doyle. She also leaves behind many other loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810. There will be a reception following at the Rogers' home at 77 Ball Pond Road in Danbury. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Joseph Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd, followed by a graveside service at St. Peter Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to Anthony’s Lake Club at 10 Christopher Columbus Avenue in Danbury to honor Patty’s memories and celebrate her life.
