Paulo was born in Danbury May 14, 1980, the son of Maria A. (Coelho) Nunes of Danbury, and the late Carlos Olivera Nunes. A lifelong resident, he attended local schools and was a graduate of Danbury High School. Prior to his illness, Paulo was employed with C-Town Supermarket. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, and Portuguese soccer.
In addition to his mother Maria, Paulo is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paulo was predeceased by his brother Mario Jorge Nunes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday August 21st in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Danbury on Wednesday August 20th from 6 thru 9pm.
