

Penny was born in Maryland and grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. She was a baton twirler in high school, a lover of art and the beach. She was also someone who loved nature and animals, especially her horses: Misty, Jazz, and Cherub.
Penny dedicated over 25 years of her life to serving the community at Danbury Hospital in the Dietary Department. She was well known not only for her exceptional work ethic, but also for her compassion and kindness toward patients.
Anyone that knew Penny knew she was a unique soul that embraced her individuality. She is survived by her 5 children: Robin, Jill, Mark, Dayle, and Meegan. Her 9 grandchildren: Lindsey, Bryce, Erin, Jamie, Jack, Allison, John, Mia, and Remy and her 3 great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Mackenzie and James (who is on his way).
A small, private funeral will be held in her honor.

Penny will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered for her unwavering spirit, legacy of individuality, her love for nature, and her passion for horses. May she rest in peace.
