

Ms. Renata Ribeiro, age 44 of Watertown, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest peacefully in her sleep at her home on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013. She was born on September 7, 1969 in Gouveia, Portugal, beloved daughter of the late Antero Ribeiro Lameiras and Maria Alcina Lameiras of Watertown.
Ms. Ribeiro immigrated with her parents and sister to Danbury on her birthday in September 1980. She graduated from Danbury High School with the class of 1987. She was known by many as one with a heart of gold, always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.
Renata will be very missed by her mom Maria Alcina Lameiras, her sister and brother-in-law Elsa Maria and Eduardo Samuel Delgado and her beloved nephew and Godson Daniel Delgado and his girlfriend Celina Lee Soto, who brought her so much pride, joy and love to her and Luke and Leia her beloved puppies. She is also survived by her Aunts and Uncles Mr. and Mrs. Dos Santos; Mr. and Mrs. Martins of Danbury, and Mr. and Mrs. Lameiras; Mr. and Mrs. Marcelo; Mr. and Mrs. Mendoca and Mr. and Mrs. Saude, all of Portugal, her loving Godchildren Jorge, Vanessa and Rachael and several cousins both of Danbury and Portugal as well as many friends who she considered family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 12th, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 149 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
