Roger was born in Meriden, CT on July 28, 1960, to Raymond and Georgine Morin. He attended Xavier High School in Middletown, CT, where he held a state title in pole vaulting. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He was a lifelong fan of UConn Huskies football and basketball.
After college, Roger held various sales and leadership positions at GE Capital, where he made many close friends and grew his career over the course of 14 years. He then went on to work for RVI Group in Stamford, CT, where he was highly regarded by his colleagues and many clients around the world. He officially retired in December 2022 and was looking forward to enjoying some quiet on Candlewood Lake with his wife, Phyllis, who he married on April 22, 1990, in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He was an avid golfer and member of the Candlewood Lake Golf League.
Roger is preceded in death by his father, Raymond, and his mother, Georgine. Roger is survived by his loving wife Phyllis, his two daughters Rachael and Jessica, his sister Renee, his brother Richard and his wife Aimee, his brother-in-law Sal and his wife Mary Jane, and his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Mark, Eric, Daniel, and Raya.
Calling hours for Roger will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 8, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Edward The Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT.
