Rose M. Pagano

Rose was born in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Cappiello Mazzio. A Danbury resident for over 20 years, she was most recently of Mahopac, NY. Before her retirement, Rose worked in the editorial department at Reader’s Digest in Pleasantville, NY. She was a member of St. Christopher Church in Hobe Sound and the Lost Lake Golf Club, where she was an avid golfer. Rose also enjoyed cruises and traveling including destinations in Italy and the Hawaii.

Besides her husband of 57 years, survivors include her sons: Vincent A. Pagano, Jr. of Chester, NJ and Robert Pagano of Upper Saddle River, NJ. Her daughters: Roseanne Chandler of Bethel, CT and Denise Scirbona of Danbury, CT. Her beloved grandchildren: Victoria, Courtney, Christian, Emily, Catherine, Kyle and Ryan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Entombment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
