Stephanie M. Jedzinak

Stephanie Kowalski Jedzinak, 97, died December 4, 2013. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Casimir and Josephine Kowalski. Stephanie came to Danbury as a youngster, attending local schools and was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1934B. A communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a former member of the church Guild, Stephanie was also a retiree of the Barden Corporation.

Stephanie was predeceased by her beloved husband: Edward Jedzinak (Jednack) and two sisters: Helen K. Cole and Evelyn K. Tomanio.

She is survived by her son, Robert, his wife, Paula, granddaughter Ellen Cipolla, her husband, Thomas Cipolla, great-granddaughter, Emily of Salisbury, NC, and granddaughter Katherine Greaney and husband, Michael Greaney, of Austin, TX. A brother: Edward Kowalski and his wife, Irene, of Manchester, CT and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Danbury with the Rev. Dennis J. Mason, OFM, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in ST. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends and family may gather for a visitation Monday, Dec. 9th from 8:30am-9:30am at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
