

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Howard and Irene Sysko Gilbert.
A former resident of Danbury, Brookfield and Boca Raton, FL, Tom worked for Castro Convertibles and Local #675 Laborers Union until his retirement.
Tom loved the beach and Fox Woods, but most of all, family dinners. We will love and miss him forever.
Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by his son: Ronald J. Koch and his sister: Eloise Matijasic.
Besides his wife of 58 years, survivors include his children: Thomas W. Koch and his wife, Maria. His sister: Patricia Arsan. His niece: Kimberly. His sister-in-law: Ruthie Hasbrouck. His nephews: Pat and Herby. His granddaughter: Heather Anne Koch of Florida and Great Grandson: David.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in Tom’s care including the New Milford Hospital and staff of Village Crest in New Milford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Peter Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Gregg Mecca, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends from 11am until 12:30pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
