It is with great sadness that the family of Victor (Reed) Clarizio announces his passing. Victor Michael (Reed) Clarizio, age 47, of Bethel, CT, loving son of Gina Clarizio died peacefully after a lengthy illness at his home surrounded by friends and family, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
He was born in New Rochelle, NY on July 23,1970 to Gina Clarizio. He was a lifelong resident of Bethel and graduated from Bethel High School (Class of ‘88) and Gateway Community College, New Haven with a degree in graphic design.
Prior to his illness, Victor worked as a graphic artist for Minute Man International. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Bethel. Victor was an avid outdoor sportsman; and his passion for karate earned him a black belt. He treasured his time he spent with family and friends.
In addition to his devoted mother Gina, who he resided with, he is survived by his son, Nico Clarizio and his daughter, Gabriella Clarizio of New Jersey. Victor is also survived by his extended family and dear friends; and his devoted dog, Benji.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Vito and Maria (Farella) Clarizio.
A celebration of Victor’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 26 Dodgingtown Road in Bethel, CT on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.
Special thanks to his caregivers Noreen, Denni, Vern, Aretha, Maria, and Steve for their loving care that helped keep a smile on his face every day.
