

Vincent F. Scandariato of Danbury formerly of New York City died April 2, 2012 at Hancock Hall in Danbury. He was 87. Vincent was born April 29, 1924 in New York City, the son of the late Vito and Joanna (Zammito) Scandariato. He was a printer for the Daily News, newspaper in New York City, He was an avid Yankee fan who enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra and he served in the US Army during WWII, but mostly his passion and pride was the City of New York and all its attributes.
He is survived by his sister Jeanne Moran, one brother Joseph Scandariato, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife Helen.
Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Monday from 12noon to 1:00pm where a memorial service will be held at 1:00pm with full military honors.
