Betty Theresa Usher

Usher, Betty Theresa (Orman)-63, of Dartmouth passed away on March 2, 2014 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Theresa (Keating) Orman. Betty loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was happiest when she was in her backyard with a bonfire lit and playing ring toss. She had a great sense of humor that will be remembered by all who knew her. Betty is survived by her sisters, Linda (Leo MacIsaac), of Halifax, Brenda (Frank “Moses’”Nasr), Thunder Bay, ON, Veronica (Owen Vernon), Calgary, AB, and Jeannie, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews; her companions, Wade and Dale; as well as a large circle of friends and of course the ladies of Henerama and her beloved dog, Chuckie. She was predeceased by her son, Matthew Todd Orman; brother, Bruce and sisters, Catherine and Patricia. Visitation be held on Friday March 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be at 10am Saturday March 8, 2014 in Northbrook Bible Chapel, 225 Victoria Road, Dartmouth.
