hi ,my name is william matthews,  grandson of arthur williams of ostrea lake.  mr carrol   hunted with my family  and when i was round twenty years old  i took him hunting.  he got a mallard male.the only bird  that day.   i took all grandads buddies out for a hunt round then.  i  miss old times 

i am on a mission and mr gardner  would be one of the ones with  a camera. are there any pictures of  ostrea lake,  still in the family?

Dear family - 
My name is Sandra, and my dog Maggie and I volunteer through the St John's Ambulance Therapy Dog program.  We spent many, many peaceful and happy visits with Mr. Gardner.  Maggie would start to pull on her leash as soon as I turned down the hallway to his bedroom.  I would let him know we were there and when I showed him Maggie, his whole face would light up.  It is so obvious that he was an animal lover - or at least, that he loved her visits :)  Maggie would jump up on his bed, snuggle in, and he would pet her until he gently drifted off to sleep. Maggie and Mr. Gardner had many sweet naps together, quietly enjoying one another's company.  Both Maggie and myself will deeply miss him.  He was a wonderful gentleman.

Hello Jane.  I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father.  I remember you and your parents from many years ago when we both lived in the Woodlawn subdivision.  My maiden name was Holly Myers, you used to hang out with my sister Heather Myers for a time.  We lived on Guysborough Avenue.  I remember that you played tennis and had blonde hair and a long pony tail!  :)  That's about all I remember. My sister Heather lives in Alberta and has been living there since the early '80's.
