Thibideau, Charles L. - Dartmouth, passed away February 4, 2012 at the Q.E. 2 Hospital. Born in Princedale, N.S. He was the son of the late Eldon and Ethel (Savary Harrison). He retired from Metro Transit 9 years ago but was a bus driver for over 30 years. He had also been on a committee for the United Way. Charles was a hockey coach in his younger years and was involved in other sports. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping. The last few years he enjoyed travelling and spending time at his cottage. Charles is survived by his wife Donna (Facey); sons David, Paul (Dawn Campbell); brother Allen; sisters Eleanor Fromm, Josephine (Roy) Fromm, Vickie Harrison; stepfather Laurence Harrison; grandchildren Alisha and Luke and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother William. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 10 from 2-3 and 7-9 pm, with a funeral service at 1 pm on Saturday all in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth. Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
