It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christena Pardy, 75, on Friday, February 10th, 2023. Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on March 23, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Pte. Michael Alexander MacDonald.
Christena is survived by daughter April (Frances), son Randy and grandson Zayden; brother Michael (Shirley) MacDonald, as well as by many extended family members.
Along with her parents, Christena was predeceased by her loving husband Sam, and her sister Velma.
At Christena’s request, there will be no funeral just a private family gathering.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Bide Awhile Shelter in Dartmouth, NS, as the compassionate treatment of animals was a cause very close to Christena’s heart.
