
Clary Fraser, 91, of Toronto, passed away on April 28th, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto, Ontario. He was born in North Preston, Nova Scotia and was the son of the late Isaac and Enice (Downey) Fraser.
He moved to Toronto in 1954 where he landed a job with Okay Parking and became a site supervisor. He then moved on to Citipark as manager, and then Harbour Front Centre as site operation supervisor until his retirement.
In 1961 Clary became a member of First Baptist Church Toronto and served as Deacon for many years. He pursued ministry studies at Ontario Bible College and was active in ministry. He also became a serving and valuable Elder in his latter years, supporting his pastors with funerals and visitations. He was known for his musical falsetto voice and rendered soul stirring music to members near and far. Elder Clary enjoyed cooking and feasting with family and friends. His special rib dish will be remembered by all who licked their fingers from his delicacy.
He is survived by his sister Adeline Fraser and sister- in-law Ethel Fraser. Elder Clary is predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley (Cain) Fraser of 47 years, brothers David, Ernest, Isaac, Allan, Cyril, Ross, and Lewis; and sisters Esther, June, and Eunice.
