York, Daniel Joseph 64 Lake Charlotte, passed away January 13, 2014.In the QEII Health Sciences Centre Palliative Care Unit, Victoria General Hospital. Born in Eastern Passage he was a son of the late Everett and Madeline York. Dan was retired from the Canadian Coast Guard after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Buffalo Club; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Surviving are his wife Diana, sons Daniel and Joseph, brothers John, Ray and Ron; sister Brenda He was predeceased by brothers Sherman, Don, sisters Gertrude, Melva and Shirley.
