Ethel "Eileen" Smith

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, that we announce the passing of beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Eileen Smith. Eileen was born in Darnley P.E.I. to the late James & Margaret Champion. She enjoyed a long, healthy and happy life and will be sadly missed by all.

Throughout her life she enjoyed hosting Christmas parties at our home on Hilton drive, she was a great cook and was always excited to have family dinners, also was an avid bowler and was a member of the Red Hatters. Many family memories will be cherished from visiting them at their cottage in Pugwash. One of her greatest talents was her amazing tole painting skills, her work will serve as a lasting memory to all.

Eileen was predeceased by Parents James & Margaret Champion, Daughter Darlene (Infancy), Brothers Hartie & Carl and Sisters Helen & Betty. She is survived by Husband Arthur married 67 years, Sister Shirley, Sons Alan (Cathy) Steve (Donna) Kevin (Jackie), Granddaughters Jennifer Smith (Laurie), Amy Smith (Nick), Samantha Markie (William) , Savannah Luscher (Brennan) and Shelby Smith (Justin). As well as Great Granddaughters Ava, Brier & Scarlett.

As per her wishes there will be no service or visitation after cremation.
