Gail Marie Stay

Gail found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life. She had a deep and lifelong love for the beach, finding peace in the sound of the ocean and the feel of the salt air.

Above all else, Gail was a devoted mother and grandmother who centered her life around those she loved. Her grandchildren were her absolute world - her "everything" - fueling her spirit and bringing her endless pride.

She was predeceased by her parents, Cecilia and Bruce Stay; her brother, Wayne Stay (Linda) and her nephew, Patrick Stay.

She is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, April; her beloved grandchildren, Savannah and Julian; her brother, Steven (Melissa) and she will be lovingly missed by her best friend and companion, her dog Bieber. She also leaves behind her nephews and nieces, Carolyn, Chris (Anne Marie), Peter (Jillian) and Catherine. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 6-8pm on Wednesday, April 15 at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth.
