Ingram "Jim" Fraser

Jim travelled around the Maritimes for many years, working as a sales representative for various companies, eventually establishing Fraser and Sleigh Sales Limited with partner Dave Sleigh. After his retirement in 1990 he and Marie enjoyed spending several months each winter in Florida. “Puppy” enjoyed watching hockey and baseball, spending many hours at local rinks watching his grandchildren play hockey. His six grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie (Vickery); son Scott (Cheryl); daughters, Debbie (Frank) Boudreau and Mary-Jane (Basil) Kiley, all of Dartmouth; brother, Sandy (Chris); sister, Mary (Nelson) Ferguson; grandchildren, Marc, Ryan, Kimberly, Kirk, Daniel and Nicholas.

He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur “Bud”, sisters, Helen and Alice.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with his wishes a memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 20 at 11am in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at a later date.
