

Hall, James Levi - It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing, on February 16th, 2012, of James Levi Hall, 73, of Dartmouth, after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family as well as his constant faithful companion, Tiny. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Tom William and Vera (Baker). He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Vivian Ann (Whitman), children Brenda Lee (David), James Kenneth (Fabiana), both of Cambridge, Ontario, Lisa Ann (William) and Robert Thomas (Emma), both of Dartmouth, NS. He will be missed by his 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jack (Barbara), Ronnie (Adele), Harold and Raymond (Betty) as well as sister-in-laws Betty and Gerry. He was predeceased by brothers Harry, Freddy, Kenneth, baby Carl and sister May.
Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held 2 to 5pm on Sunday, February 19th at Mattatall’s Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS. Funeral service and burial to take place at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Terry Fox Foundation (http://www.terryfox.org/)
