Joan loved baseball and prospecting. She was retired from the Dartmouth General Hospital where she worked in the accounting department. She also belonged to the Police Association of Nova Scotia.
Joan is survived by her son, Garry Stevens; brother, Ronald Wilson; sister, Faye Zinc; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 1:30pm in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
