So sorry to read about your fathers passing…  Not an easy time for the family.  May God’s love and mercy comfort you and your family during this difficult time… Sending you my deepest sympathies and may your father Rest in Peace.  


So sorry to hear of Karl's passing. He truly was a larger than life character. Karl was always around as a close friend to my parents Don & Mauritius Parker for over 70 years. In my younger days I always enjoyed his visits as they were very animated. He also shared many stories of his life changing experiences during WW II which always captured my attention due to my interest in history.
It was interesting to hear Karl's perspective from those experiences which helped balance what we were taught in school.
In later years his visits to my parents place were fewer but they always made the effort to reach out to stay in touch.
We truly cherished Karl's presence at my Dad's funeral in March 2020, knowing physically it was difficult for him.
True friendship for 70 years, not too many can say that.
Sincere condolences to Terry, Veronika, Monika & the rest of the family.

Very sorry for the lost of your dad.We had a beer and conversation in the past and i did go to school with Terry and Veronika.I was also a Nova Scotia teammate in the Canada games with V and am sending my condolences to all of you and the rest of your family members.Rest In peace Sir. I have such wonderful memories of being with Karl and Veronika in the later years of Karl’s life traveling to Germany, reliving Karl’s early years, visiting family, Karl wanting us to see where he came from, but always interested in a good time being had by his family and friends. So happy to have had been a part of his family and life, looking forward to seeing Karl again in God’s new world, what a surprise for him!  Will miss those good times, looking forward to the future promised by God, in which all things will be made new and the pain and suffering of the loss of loved ones will be a thing of the past. My heart aches for for all of you, So hard to lose someone we love. 

The Wigle Family are sad to hear about the passing your father.  I never formally knew him but did meet him on a couple job sites or at Tim Hortons while talking to Terry.   He lived a very full and meaningful life and left his creative mark in all corners of the metro area.  Masters are few and far between and we had one with us for many years.

Lester & I live in a home in Portland Estates for which Karl and his men did all the brick and masonry work.  Amazing fireplaces.  He was a gifted man.

Living on Wildwood Blvd., along with Karl and Phyllis in our early years of marriage, we watched as his children grew and succeeded.  Later, after Phyllis passed away, we remained friends with both him and Arlene.  

He had a long and productive life.  May he rest in peace.
