

ANDERSON, Lois "Twiggy" —64 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 3. Born in LaFleche, Sask., Lois was a daughter of the late Alice and Palmer Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate, George Hoskin; daughter, Kayla Moran (Elizabeth Ayana); son, Jason Moran (Paula Poirier); brother, Wayne Anderson (Laurie); sister, Linda Moen (Ian); granddaughter, Sarah Moran; and all of her nieces and nephews. Lois served several years in the Navy. She was very athletic in high jump, baseball and basketball. Lois and George enjoyed the great outdoors and bird watching was their favourite pastime. We would like to thank the Red Cross and VON staff, with special thanks to Amy, Marilyn, and Sarah. After a long and hard four year battle, Lois is finally at peace. She couldn't have done it without the love of her family and the unending support of the MacLeod/Grout family, Eileen, Fred, Christina, Cathlene and of course, Carolynn and her special daughter, Camrynn's sweet prayers for Lois. Lois's amazing sense of humour will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She always kept her chin up, even in the face of hardship. She will continue to be an inspiration. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Interment will follow.
