

George Margaret Anne, of Dartmouth passed away October 13, 2011. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Annie (Parker) Fielding. She regretfully leaves her beloved, devoted husband Glendon “Glen” of 57 years, their treasured family; son David and Sherry (Taylor) George, daughter, Linda (Steffan) George-Wegner. She felt blessed to be nannie and friend to cherished grandchildren Kurtis and Kaelin George-Wegner; Ian George. She was grateful for her brothers and sisters in law, Parker and Bernice Fielding, Quebec; Harlow and Judy Fielding, Illinois; nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was predeceased by brother Harlow and his son Brian. Her family and friends enriched her life. Margaret’s ancestors arrived on the Mayflower in 1620. Her parents faith in god, loving care and their appreciation of nature, influenced her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Dartmouth, and enjoyed a long involvement with many church activities. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society for over 56 years. Visiting Wednesday October 19,2011, 7-9pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth. A Memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday Oct. 20, 2011, in First Baptist Church, Dartmouth, Followed by burial in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Rev. Martin Zwicker officiating.
