Murray St. Clair McCully

Mc Cully, Murray St. Clair 84 Dartmouth passed away peacefully on April 24, 2012 in the Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Port Greville he was a son of the late Meaurita Mc Cully. Murray retired in 1990 from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans with 32 years of public service. Murray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather who generously put his family first. He loved hockey especially the Toronto Maple Leafs .He played hockey in his earlier years , He enjoyed travelling especially to his childhood home in Port Greville .Surviving are his wife Caroline ( d’Entremont) , son Kevin Dartmouth; daughters Sharon Walters Dartmouth; Kathy (Lee) Smith, Subiaco Australia,; brothers Billy, Donnie, Marvin Eric, Gerald and Jimmy; sisters Marion , Linda ,Noreen, Beverly and Sharon. Four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents and sister Joyce. A Memorial service will be held 2 pm Monday April 30, 2012 in Stairs Memorial United Church, 44 Hester St. Dartmouth. Rev. Sarah Reaburn officiating. Interment in Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Dartmouth.
