Here today, Sunday Feb 18/2018,  2 months after you left us Im having a real hard time dealing with you gone. You are on my mind every day and I can't get it that your not here anymore. I can't count how many times I attempted to pick up the phone to call you for my daily laugh, I'm in pain missing you, I wish I could hear your voice again. Since I can remember you were always in my life and always carried me with you, you taught me so much and it was a tremendous joy to be around you. I know that your with God but its still hard to believe that your not here with us, your passing has hit alot of people hard and we are all missing you bad.  Wynola, you already know how I feel about you, thats not a question and I know your feeling the pain more than anyone, Im here anytime you need me, Big Sis... I Love You, Uncle Chum

My heart is beyond hurt that Uncle Chum is gone and that I cannot be there with you all. The memories I have will never fade. Growing up I think I spent more time with you guys than mom and dad. The weekend sleepovers the chats we had about school, jobs and boys. I appreciated the lunches he made me every morning in high school. I ate it as soon as I got on the bus. Aunt Winnie you know we love you. I am.glad we had the time with him that we did. To the Fraser family thank you guys for always welcoming me into your homes and lives. I am sorry you are all feeling pain right now.  I will remember Uncle Chum for Faith, Family and Fun. He welcomed my little family into his home and I am glad he had a chance to know them. I really wish he would have told me what he put in the flour bread, but I'll keep trying until I get it. Until we meet again Uncle Chum, Jean, Mr. Patterson and I will remember your love and generosity. We love you all. ❤

I can remember the times I would come home on Military Leave or just on vacation and go across the road to see what my Buddy was doing. I  can recall all the laughs we shared. Chum loved a good song and sometimes I would catch him playing an old standard on the stereo or sitting in the car just listening to James,Aretha or just the hit of the day. He showed the love of life and conversation, just dont argue with him lol. We stood at each others weddings and had a long lasting friendship even after I moved away. Chum you are always going to have a special place in my heart.I am very happy to have had you share thoughts, friends, and family with you . Wynola be strong and know that you can call on me to have a shoulder to lean. God will lift you up.  The Samuels Family is thinking about you and your family at this time.
