Olive Frances Horne

HORNE, Olive Frances- 91, a long-time resident of Dartmouth, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in Bissett Court Nursing Home. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Josephine (Gifford) O'Hearn. She was the loving mother of sons, Barrie (Sonia), Calgary, Alberta and David (Janice) Dartmouth; beloved grandmother of Natalie and Michael both of Dartmouth.

She is survived by her nephew, Ronald (Martha) Hurst of Windsor Ont and niece Deann (Gerald) Gomes of Mississauga , Ont. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence in February 1992 .

In honoring our mother's wishes, cremation will take place, there will be no formal funeral service. The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to management and staff at Bissett Court for the exceptional family-like care they provided.

She leaves her family with many happy and loving memories - never to be forgotten. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or her favorite charity, the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Arrangements have been entrusted to A.L.
