Phil could build, modify, fix or do almost anything he put his mind to, and never let his physical disability become a handicap. Telling him “It can’t be done,” was all the motivation he needed to go figure out how to do it, earning him a well-deserved “Mr. Fix-it” reputation around the neighbourhood. By trade, he was an electronics technician and worked at the Bedford Magazine, DND, before retiring. He was an active member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humour, innovative curiosity, and readiness to debate. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing or meeting him.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 22, 2017, St. Thomas Anglican Church 2 Hwy, Fletchers Lake, NS with Interment at Fall River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The War Amps.
